During spinal surgery there is often a need to reinforce the injury site with bone graft. One option is to use donated (allograft) bone.  Allograft donor bone eliminates the need to harvest the patient’s own bone from another site.

The donor graft acts as a bone scaffold onto which the patient’s own bone grows and eventually replaces the graft.

To maximise the efficiency of this process all CRT Products are made from 100% human bone with no artificial fillers, and are individually verified for conductivity ( structure to maximise bone growth)  and  osteoinductivity (presence of factors to promote bone growth) prior to release for distribution.

These In-vivo test results demonstrate structure and all 5 bone-forming elements (chondrocytes, osteocytes, bone marrow cells, cartilage, and new bone) in our products.
